I’m a writer and composition instructor in Boston. I teach first year writing courses at the University of Massachusetts Boston and Emerson College. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College and a BA in English and Creative Writing from Emory University.
I knew as I began to pursue writing that, in the 21st century, “being a writer” has rapidly expanding and evolving implications. Innovative advancements in technology and communication leave versatile, forward-thinking writers with a wider proverbial toolbox than ever before. With that in mind, I’ve approached my training from a variety of angles with an emphasis on honing my flexibility as an extension of my craft.
My portfolio page contains samples of my work from The Boston Globe, The Georgia Voice, and The Emory Wheel. You can also check out my resume tab for more information about my qualifications and experience.
I’m always open to opportunities. Feel free to contact me via email at [email protected].
