Hello! My name is Mary Mangual and I’m a writer working on an MFA in fiction at Emerson College in Boston. In May 2020, I graduated with my BA from Emory University in Atlanta where I studied English and Creative Writing with a minor in Political Science.
I knew as I began to pursue writing that, in the 21st century, “being a writer” has rapidly expanding and evolving implications. Innovative advancements in technology and communication leave versatile, forward-thinking writers with a wider proverbial toolbox than ever before. With that in mind, I’ve approached my training from a variety of angles with an emphasis on honing my flexibility as an extension of my craft.
My portfolio page contains samples of my work from The Boston Globe, The Georgia Voice, and The Emory Wheel. You can also check out my resume tab for more information about my qualifications and experience.
I’m currently looking for opportunities. Feel free to contact me via email at [email protected] or by call/text at 937-476-9893. Email is preferred. I do hope to be in touch!
